Awwws...ruki and aoi were so cool... i love what aoi did when they were forced to get off stage...the crowd was wild, kudos to them(both the fans and the Gazette)... even though the performance was short, they were cool and u can tell they're very passionate about their music.
it's really very sad when they did this performance specially for their fans, then to be pulled off stage like this.
There's a vid (really bad quality)showing their performance, and them getting pulled offstage included: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hrJWGpn7pLY&feature=related
here's a translation of the news, found on crunchyroll which they took from http://focaccina.livejournal.com/:

the GazettE Shinjuku Street Live Gathers 7000 people, the most in history, had to be forcefully stopped.
Visual Kei Rock Band, the GazettE on the 15th(Sat), held their first secret live at Shinjuku Station Square. Approximately over 7000 people, the most in history, turned up at said location for the event, where the GazettE played their new single [LEECH] and performed both songs with much enthusiasm. But having gathered too many attendants, at this unusual situation, the local police were forced to issue a cease and desist after only 2 songs were preformed.
The new song [LEECH], on the 12th of this month, managed to top the Oricon Singles Daily Chart at 1st place and the band has gathered popularity beyond the Visual Kei Rock Scene. Thought it was secret live, fans had filled up the surroundings across the road in front of Shinjuku Alta, despite being a few hours before the live started and the security around the venue reported that the traffic situation was abnormal.
As the members entered the stage, it was like a string of excitement was cut as the audience burst into maniacal cheers. As the vocalist Ruki shouted, “Tokyo! Shinjuku! Come and get it!!!” to fuel the crowd, and a storm of head banging begun, shrouding Shinjuku in a bizarre sight. The local police commented that “It would be dangerous to continue” and proposed that the live be stopped after the 2nd song was preformed. As the crowd cheered for an encore with a resonant voice, being emotionally moved, one by one, the fans broke into tears.
