What else? Some other misc stuff and my student ID I nid to make…Melbourne is such a big place.. and winter here is damn cold…it’s the coldest month of the year, goes down to 8 degrees Celsius.. I miss the Singapore sun.
In my rented apartment, I was the first to reach… and still am alone here..none of the other 2 housemates are here yet. D=… its double storey and its IRRITATING coz I have to climb up and down to get stuff here and there if I forget. Now I noe how good it is to live in a single storey >.<
I was quite an idiot.. came here liao then realize forgot to bring my diploma cert/transcript and my O levels cert…and I never print out my course syllabus…=.=”. Scatter Brained me…luckily my brother scanned it and sent to me…and Melissa (the person in charge) at my dorm was kind enough to print them out for me FOC, coz I told them I need it urgently and I don’t have anywhere else to go to print. Actually when I went orientation today can print der, BUT it costs a friggin 11cents for one piece of black and white…photocopy or print. Double of SG printing prices…omg.
Also everything here is so different ...the weather(needless to say), the culture, so many angmos… transport system…its more complicated and easy at the same time… anyway, dere’s SOOOOO much variety of food here, from all over the world…dere’s even a place my parents and I found at the Chinatown area called Singapore chomp chomp =D. lols..never tried the food. But I heard some are good..and some…yuck.
Anyway, orientation here was all talk, no games and full of international students all over the world… much more useful than the SG ones.. the lecturers were interesting..and the talks were short and useful, straight to the point too...sg one so boring, and have pointless games…not that it didn’t work in icebreaking…but I just find it…pointless. Oh, and I had free lunch here today...i had a free britzel (a pretzel brand bah..)
My parents r going to return home soon…then, I’ll truly be on my own… even though its gonna be exciting, fun, …whatever, but I’m gonna miss everyone…
